The Florida State Fair is not just about thrilling rides and exciting exhibits; it's also a food lover's paradise. From classic fair favorites to innovative culinary creations, the fair offers a foodie experience like no other. Deep-Fried Delights
One of the highlights of any fair experience is the array of deep-fried delights, and the Florida State Fair did not disappoint. We indulged in deep-fried Oreos, a classic treat that never fails to satisfy with its warm, gooey center and crispy outer shell.
Savory Sensations
If you're more of a savory food enthusiast, the fair had plenty to offer. We sampled the flaming hot Cheetos street corn, and its a must!
Sweet Treats
No fair experience would be complete without indulging in some sweet treats, and the Florida State Fair had no shortage of options. We treated ourselves to an absolute classic, Peachy’s Donuts! No matter what we are in the mood for we always grab something from Peachy’s! This was a coconut crème donut, and it was FANTASTIC!
Refreshing Drinks
To wash it all down, we tried this insane chocolate covered strawberry tea, which was the perfect balance of sweet strawberries and chocolate. This drink is a bit more indulgent than I typically prefer, but think its great to share amongst your whole gang. Just make sure you grab a more thirst quenching beverage for the hot fair days!
A Cursed Concatenation: The Crazy Pickle at the Florida State Fair
Among the myriad of culinary delights at the 2024 Florida State Fair, one treat stood out as both unique and daring: the crazy pickle covered with a fruit roll-up, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in fruity pebbles. This unconventional creation combined sweet, savory, and tangy flavors in a way that was as surprising as it was delicious.
